Dead Space Remake Review
Space horror done right

I’ve seen the Dead Space Remake pop up in reels and clips on social—creepy hallways, zero gravity combat, and those signature jump scares. I’m already into horror games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, so this one instantly caught my eye. But it wasn’t just another horror game—this one took the fear into space, and I had to try it.
I didn’t play the original, but the Dead Space Remake on PS5? Absolutely loved it.
Gameplay – Smooth, Scary, and So Satisfying
The gameplay in Dead Space Remastered is super polished. The movement, aiming, and weapon upgrades all feel tight and satisfying. At first, I thought upgrading all weapons would be too much—it looked overwhelming. But once I got into it, I was completely hooked. I ended up collecting everything, and even went for the secret ending (which was a wild surprise!).
The game really pulled me in. From tense corridors to pitch-black encounters, the atmosphere is just insane. And let’s talk about the jump scares—some of those moments had me literally freezing up. That’s when you know the horror is done right.
Weapons & Upgrades – Customization That Matters
The weapon variety in Dead Space is top-tier. Every weapon feels unique, and upgrading them actually changes the way you play. From slicing through Necromorphs with the Plasma Cutter to shredding them with the Force Gun, you really get to find your own style.
I’m still working on the Platinum Trophy—only one left: Impossible Mode. And yes, it’s brutal. But that challenge is exactly why I love it.
Story & Ending – Dark, Deep, and Unexpected
The storytelling was surprisingly strong. I didn’t expect to be that into the plot, but it totally delivered. I did not see that ending coming, and even after finishing the game, I kept thinking about how well it all tied together.

Dead Space Remake is everything I want from a horror game—intense atmosphere, rewarding gameplay, deep upgrades, and a story that keeps you guessing. Whether you're a horror veteran or new to the genre, this is a must-play. Totally worth your time—and maybe your sanity.
